Refund & Cancellation Policy

Synq has exactly one paid feature: revealing a specific match. This page describes when that payment is refunded.
What you pay for
Taking the assessment is free. When you and a match decide to see who the other person is, the reveal costs a one-time fee of ₹99 (in some pairings split between the two members; the exact amount is always shown before payment). Payments are processed by Razorpay. The reveal is a digital service delivered immediately on successful payment.
When we refund
- Paid but not delivered: if your payment was captured and the reveal did not unlock (for example, the match expired before the payment settled), we refund the full amount.
- Duplicate or excess payment: if the same reveal was paid for twice (for example, both members paid the full amount in a split pairing), the excess is refunded in full.
- Failed but charged: if your bank shows a debit but the payment failed on our side, the amount auto-reverses through Razorpay; if it does not within 7 days, contact us and we will trace it.
When we do not refund
- A reveal that was delivered: once identities are unlocked, the service has been provided and the fee is non-refundable, regardless of what happens after the introduction.
- Fees are tied to a specific match and cannot be transferred to another match.
How refunds are processed
- Eligible refunds are initiated by us to your original payment method.
- Razorpay typically settles refunds in 5 to 7 business days, depending on your bank.
- To request a refund or trace a payment, email vardaankhosla70@gmail.com with the email address on your account and the approximate time of payment. We respond within 48 hours.
Cancellation
There are no subscriptions to cancel. You may stop using Synq or delete your account at any time; deletion does not create a refund entitlement for reveals already delivered.
